The catch-all page for plot inquiries, NPC threads, investigations, player plots, plot suggestions, and everything else under that banner. Frequency of replies to NPC thread requests will be subject to mod availability, but we will do our best.

INVESTIGATIONS

This is where you come to seek out conversations with NPCs, have your character investigate the setting, or otherwise declare that your character is doing something we should know about. We are open to doing unsolicited NPC call-out threads but reserve the right to cut them short/handwave if they don't seem to be going anywhere or to limit their scope if we are overburdened. NPCs are not always guaranteed to be up for prolonged conversation, but you can try. To attempt to contact an NPC please put their name in the subject line. For conversations of general plot importance, we may ask you to make an closed log.

For investigations, you can freely use this page to have your character seek out information about the characters, setting, or plot. We do ask that you keep investigations to 1-3 inquiries at most, and to have those inquiries be somewhat related. If you want to investigate things that are completely unrelated, please put them in a separate comment. Additionally, please be specific about the approach your character is taking to find out information; their method will greatly impact how well it goes for them.

PLAYER PLOTS

Aion Teleos is designed to be open to player plots, and would be glad to accomodate them! Let us know in a comment below that you/your character is doing and how you'd like to approach it as a player run event. Please put the words "Player Plot" in the subject line.

PLOT SUGGESTIONS

If you don't specifically want to run a plot yourself but have some vague ideas of an event type you think would scratch an itch for the game, please let us know. We don't guarantee we'll use these ideas, but we will keep them in mind when designing future events.

What does he mean the 'real' history? The guys sounds offended. Is Dextera suggesting that the story he was just told isn't real?

panicked, dextera shakes his head! it takes him a moment to get through what he wants to say, but he clarifies: he means the history as told by people who aren’t… currently in power in achamoth. he’s placing his faith in the faeyr.

Oh... The booth buy hesitates. Looking torn, he asks: who are they, anyway? Are they not from Godsblood?

[passio]

no sense in lying completely when a half-truth will work. dextera nods, and gets ryunosuke to explain they’re out-of-towners who came to godsblood a few months ago to get a fresh start.

[aionpcs]

Perhaps unsurprisingly, he will ask them where they were living before that.

dextera hopes his silence works in his favor here, as he has to take a moment to settle on a place… but he soon decides to say they came from a small village a few days’ walk from the shrine of the innocent.

They're valley folk, then? The Faeyr lad will comment that they probably know all about the Innocent then, don't they? What's the valley like? It's it true that it holds the Innocent's power, even to this day? Are unicorns real? Have they ever seen one? Did the Pleroma everyone's been talking about really come from there?

that is so many questions!!

dextera tries to take it one step at a time, especially since he knows ryunosuke can’t fill in many of the gaps as he wasn’t with the initial group that traveled through.

the valley is beautiful and peaceful, and yes, full of power… dextera does believe that unicorns reside there, but he’s never seen one personally.

he kind of stumbles when the faeyr mentions the pleroma aion, though, since he hasn’t heard about anyone being discovered. he awkwardly suggests that it’s possible an aion came through one of their villages… that’s why it’s so important to learn…

The Faeyr boy appreciates him answering question and will ask a few more that are not worth getting into. Ultimately, though, he seems to have forgotten what the point of this discussion was in the first place.

without a doubt, dextera unfortunately continues to answer his questions until one of them gets him back on track and/or ryunosuke reminds him what they’re here for after being forced to translate the inane back-and-forth.

as they were saying… dextera just wants to learn the faeyr’s perspective on history and ask questions just like this. if there’s a way he can eventually talk to the boy’s family… it doesn’t have to be today. but whenever he thinks they might be willing to hold an audience.

The boy will sounds sort of unsure, like he doesn't actually know how he'd make that happen, but he says he can 'ask around' his family. How can he contact them if one of them says yes? Do they live in the city?

dextera gives him a reassuring nod in silence, without using ryunosuke to translate his desire to instill confidence. what he does use ryunosuke for, however, is to give him the location of the room he’s been paying for—it’s only dextera there, though, so he may not have someone to speak for him next time.
