A soul plucked from a distant world, you are reborn in crystal. Awakening from your chrysalis in the heart of one of eleven ancient shrines, you are greeted by the grim visage of a world that has been tormented by a being known as the Regent for millennia. You are an Aion, they say: a creature capable of godlike feats if allowed the time to grow. The locals of this realm fear what your presence means; time and time again, Aions have arrived, and war and suffering has followed in their wake. After all, you are one of the few beings from the scattered multiverse capable of manipulating the Pleroma and Kenoma, twin forces of hope and despair, creation and destruction. You are what the Regent needs, whether you like it or not. Aion Teleos is a plot heavy faction game inspired by gnostic lore and themes of despair, hope, corruption, and redemption. Characters are reborn as Aions in the land of Horos, a realm that's been long under the yoke of a tyrannical dark lord known as the Regent. They have two options: to serve its whims in exchange for power and comfort, or to flee into this downtrodden world and fight back as part of the resistance. Whichever they choose, the fate of the entire multiverse may be at stake. | ||||
