PLOT & INVESTIGATIONS
Story Plotting
The catch-all page for plot inquiries, NPC threads, investigations, player plots, plot suggestions, and everything else under that banner. Frequency of replies to NPC thread requests will be subject to mod availability, but we will do our best.
INVESTIGATIONS
This is where you come to seek out conversations with NPCs, have your character investigate the setting, or otherwise declare that your character is doing something we should know about. We are open to doing unsolicited NPC call-out threads but reserve the right to cut them short/handwave if they don't seem to be going anywhere or to limit their scope if we are overburdened. NPCs are not always guaranteed to be up for prolonged conversation, but you can try. To attempt to contact an NPC please put their name in the subject line. For conversations of general plot importance, we may ask you to make an closed log.
For investigations, you can freely use this page to have your character seek out information about the characters, setting, or plot. We do ask that you keep investigations to 1-3 inquiries at most, and to have those inquiries be somewhat related. If you want to investigate things that are completely unrelated, please put them in a separate comment. Additionally, please be specific about the approach your character is taking to find out information; their method will greatly impact how well it goes for them.

PLAYER PLOTS
Aion Teleos is designed to be open to player plots, and would be glad to accomodate them! Let us know in a comment below that you/your character is doing and how you'd like to approach it as a player run event. Please put the words "Player Plot" in the subject line.
PLOT SUGGESTIONS
If you don't specifically want to run a plot yourself but have some vague ideas of an event type you think would scratch an itch for the game, please let us know. We don't guarantee we'll use these ideas, but we will keep them in mind when designing future events.

Couple of follow up questions:
1. To Ryunosuke, "assassination" carries connotations of subterfuge and sinister plotting. Hearing that Helico was devoted to Venera and rarely ever left the area, he had kind of been assuming they'd been taken down in some kind of big, nasty public fight, or like... A siege upon the city. He'd probably ask for clarification then, wondering if Tehri has any insight as to where the truth lies between those two scenarios.
2. This is just for my own OOC curiosity but I just wanna confirm: Helico went by they/them pronouns, then?

2. Yes, Helico uses they/them pronouns.

That said-- This is just a COMPLETE shot in the dark but since he's going to be around Godsblood a lot more this month.... Those big murals of carvings all over the city hall: is there like, a section of the overall picture that might indicate a portion that's connected to this incident? To be more specific he'd be looking for like, representations of Veneran architecture or major landmarks of that city, plus anything with the sign of the Artisan on it.
2. Diversity win. Thank you!

I have a few follow up questions that are just small details, bc they're the sort of thing Ryunosuke would probably try to make note of (I'm so sorry about this wannabe detective)
1. As they take a look at the murals on city hall, do they show signs of having been added to and expanded on over a long period of time, like many different artists have worked on it over the centuries of the city's history? Or does it look like the entire span was planned out and completed as a single work? He'd be noting things like regular wear and tear on carvings and drawings from exposure to the outdoors, and looking for like... artists signatures, and possibly years/dates associated with the installation of different works.
2. Does the portion on the back of the building depicting Venera specifically have an artist's name/date of dedication tucked in the image anywhere? Not something that he would necessarily follow up on right away, but he might note it down for future reference.

2) No, unfortunately not. If he asks anyone on the street, they will basically say that the art on City Hall belongs to the whole city, so it wouldn't seem right for it to be marked by any particular individual. However, it seems likely that some city historians would know who did what, if asked.
